Takeover

Live-ops takeover

When a game needs a new operator, or its costs have outgrown its revenue, we take it over with minimal disruption to players:

Infrastructure and DevOps.

Servers, build pipelines, databases and cloud cost optimization.

Product and economy.

Offers, bundles, events, first-time experience and retention tuning.

Player support and store health.

Customer support and app-store ratings.

Ongoing features

New features such as guilds, battle passes and deeper analytics.

On Spin to Win, our team included a product manager, UX designer, UI artist, iOS and Android engineers, a senior back-end engineer, DevOps, QA and customer support. On Skullgirls Mobile, we inherited a long-running game and took full ownership of its back-end infrastructure.

Games as a service

Live ops built into new games

We design games as a service from day one. After release we build web-based admin tools, integrated analytics to understand play patterns, and systems to run updates and special events, so your team can run events and updates directly.

Skullgirls Mobile banner

Skullgirls Mobile back end & LiveOps (Autumn Games)

We upgraded an 8TB MongoDB cluster from 3.2 to 6.0 with zero data loss and only two brief maintenance windows (10 and 30 minutes), built a modern Angular live-ops dashboard on AWS Lambda, and supported new guilds, analytics and battle-pass systems. The result: 30% better performance and a 30% lower monthly operating cost.

Spin to Win Sweepstakes and Slots banner

Spin to Win Sweepstakes and Slots (LTV Games)

We took over a mobile sweepstakes and slots game with tens of millions of downloads that was no longer profitable. We cut its costs, streamlined AWS hosting, lifted day-one retention by over 10% and added subscription bundles tied to sweepstakes prizes. We continue to run the game.
